Transforming your garden with block paving

Creating a new look for your garden with creative block paving

As Autumn has approached, why change your front garden with our creative block paving?

When we think about creating a new look for our garden, we generally think of planting, decking or patios. Have you ever thought creating an area using block paving which you could also use as a driveway?

A driveway can be a part of your front garden, created to give your garden a lovely design with practicality. Borders can still be kept with trees and shrubs, planters and edging can really finish the design off.

Block paving can look stunning,  with so many different products and designs on the market. This type of paving can showcase the front of your home after all, it is the first part visitors see when arriving at your property.

There are so many creative designs that can be made using block paving. Our team have over 19 years experience in creating beautiful driveways in Newcastle, Gateshead and other parts of the North East. With any garden or paving it is down to the choice of materials, colours and design. Having a good eye for detail, comes with years of experience, its certainly not just a matter of laying some blocks. We can create a driveway bespoke to your requirements, helping advise you on the right bricks and colours to suit your property.

Our team of pavers work with leading brands such as:

  • Marshalls
  • Thomas Armstrong
  • Lakeland Paviors
  • Derwent Stone

Designs and new products are coming on to the market all the time. Don’t just choose a type of paving your neighbour has, be different there is so much choice now on the market. Even a year down the line, having a driveway installed technologies will have probably changed and new designs launched onto the market.

We love creating block paving that stands out and looks great. It can offer so much to a properties appeal and first impressions. Manhole covers, edging and steps can all be incorporated into the overall design of your paving, we can also create beautiful pathways leading off from your driveway.

Take for example this project below;

The customer was looking to create extra parkings space without spoiling the look of their front garden. We kept part of the garden and the borders, we incorporated the tree into the design and laid slate at the side border and around the tree to finish of the overall look. We then created a curved path leading from one driveway to the other. This way the customer had a path to walk up from one driveway to the other without trialling mud into the car or house.  New turf was laid and ornate lighting to finish off the overall look. This project has not only given the customer extra parking space it has also made the properties land look much bigger than it originally did as you will see on the before photo below.

We can also carry out creative paving designs, the one below is what we created for a school in Gateshead. This type of block paving can be created as a feature in a garden area to give the area more appeal.
