Beautiful driveways and patios created with Thomas Armstrong paving

View some of our beautiful driveways and patios created with Thomas Armstrong paving products.

Thomas Armstong was originally founded by Thomas Armstrong in Cockermouth back in 1830, it originally consisted of saw mills and a joinery work shop. Over the years the company expanded and became a limited company. By 1986 the company was strengthened by the acquisition of Garners Concrete Blocks Limited, ACP (concrete) Limited and the block paving manufacturing plant at Consett.

The company since then has gone from strength to strength. The famous Beamish Cobbles,  which we see so much of in the North East is by Thomas Armstrong.  Beamish cobbled paving offers exceptional value for people who are looking for something a little different from the rest. It comes in three very distinct colours which all offer a genuine effect of a cobbled driveway or patio.

You can see some examples of our work, using this Thomas Armstrong Beamish Cobbled Paving below.

You will see the three colours of block paving above left to right, harvest, stone and burnt orchid. This cobbled paving looks really stunning on any driveway or patio area. You can get the edging, steps and manhole covers all to match to finish the project perfectly.
